Rajasthan JE 2025 is a state level recruitment exam which is conducted by RSMSSB( Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board) for the reputative post of Junior Engineer (JE). Notification and application details
RSMSSB released the official notification for Junior Engineer Recruitment in late November 2024. So, the official application process started from 28th November 2024 and end on 27th December 2024. Total 1355 vacancies has been announced in which civil, mechanical, electrical and agricultural engineering streams posts are available.
Eligibility and Application Fee
- Qualification: Candidate must have diploma or degree in relevant engineering stream.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 or Maximum 40 years as on 1st Jan 2025 ( Further relaxation as per government norms)
- Application Fee: General/OBC/EWS: ₹600 SC/ST/PWD: ₹400

Exam Pattern and syllabus
Rajasthan JE 2025 exam have been held in two parts:
- General Knowledge ( 40 marks) : which included Rajasthan history, geography, politics , current affairs.
- Technical Subject( 80 marks): Included stream-specific topics such as-
- Civil- Surveying, Fluid Mechanics, RCC, Transportation, etc.
- Mechanical- Thermodynamics, Machine Design, Manufacturing, AutoCAD basics.
- Electrical- Circuits, Machines, Power Systems, Control Systems.
Total Marks: 120 | Duration: 2 hours | Negative Marking: 0.33 per wrong answer.
Important: For Agriculture JE, exam is for 300 marks and time duration is 3 hours.
Result Updates
- The written exam was held in Nov 2025.
- The answer key was released on 12th May 2025 and objections were taken from 17th – 19th May.
- Mechanical Branch result was declared on 25th July 2025 in which separate lists were published for degree and Diploma holders.
- Final JE result ( all the streams) was uploaded on the official website of RSMSSB on 30th– 31st July 2025
